neilspen
Having lost my modelling mojo, I was tempted by a cheapish kit in The Works and build it from the box, with the addition of a pair of Hasegawa LGBs and an Airfix stand. In typical old Airfix kit style, the box art looked good, but the fit was terrible. I finally an out of my 20 year old bottle of Kleer, so I picked up a bottle of Ammo of Mig gloss varnish and tried that. I was lazy and brushed it on, rather than get the airbrush out and not impressed with my brushing efforts, which you can see in the pictures. I also tried some UMP ( I think ) wash for the panel lines, but I overworked it and again not too impressed with my efforts, but it is a learning curve. At least it got my modelling mojo back, it made me build a Revell Eurofighter Typhoon on the back of it, the results I will post later.

Natter
S'alright is that. It was made to be built, you built it; and you got your mojo back. That's a winner all-round.
