Robert Stuart
Thought this was the most appropriate area to show this: Just received a 3d scanner, after a long wait: It's a Creality Lizard 3d scanner. So far, I've unboxed it. Anybody had experience with anything similar? 2

Twobad
I too am very interested to see the results from this. I've considered getting one but am reluctant to splurge the cash until I understand a bit more about what they can, and can't, do in a practical sense. Got it through a Kickstarter campaign (that was an adventure), so paid about half the standard price. On Creality's website, this is about $600 to $750 depending on the extras you go for. Having imported a few things recently, current exchange rate, pound(£) prices with shipping and VAT, tend to be slightly better than £1 = $1. Guys I've not replied to earlier posts because I'm still struggling with the software (Creality's manual is less than helpful). There are people popping up on YouTube with guidance, but they are learning too.
