I’m not happy with underneath, but it’s underneath… Top wing still not glued on but tomorrow looks like a possible finish: [edit] Actually it doesn’t look that bad underneath in context:

Brandy
Undersides are very tricky to get right. In real life some of the internal framing is slightly blurred, presumably because it is not in direct contact with the linen. This is especially noticeable with upper wing markings and is very difficult to get looking right. I think you've done a pretty good job here, I'd be happy with it! Brandy
Lovely result, and I still say the undersides look great, especially the way they're photographed here. Ian
Dave Slowbuild
Gorgeous little thing! As for the undersides…. That last photo, looking up at the top wing, looks very realistic, light filtering through the canvas. Spot on!
AdrianMF
Thanks @Dunny, @Brandy, @DaddyO, @Hamden, @bigbadbadge, @mark.au, @Courageous, @GrzeM, @Fritag, @AliGauld, @Octávio Mântua, @Dave Slowbuild and many others for your support, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Looking at pic #2 today I noticed that one of the starboard V struts wasn’t positioned correctly at the join, so I broke the join and moved it into the correct position. A bit nerve-racking but I’m glad I did it. Just for a laugh, here’s a pic with a pair of recent finishes, the “Pfalz Friends”: The three of them end to end are about the same length as the F-102 I’m doing in the Century Fighters GB! I’ve posted a few more pictures in an RFI. Regards, Adrian
