What am I getting myself into...

See, I've had this box resting in the attic for quite a while, and really need to take the bull by the horns and build it.

Bought in somewhere around 1987/88ish..  at one time I believe the B/D/E-demonstrator got added as well.

So, some late 80ies kit archeology then.

I doubt these will be of any use - all yellowed. Maybe I can save the stenciling as that Bicentennial scheme is not what I have in mind.

Whahey, look at that! two kits! I did start some parts as a teenager, but not too much. The grey plastic looks to be the more likely candidate.

Not the tailpipes I remember from standing near the runway at Soesterberg.

Reskit replacements are on the way (intended for the Tamiya kit but I will make them fit  )

A smattering of loose parts..

But the real reason I bought the B/D/E kit is this:

And 18 year old me spent quite some time painstakingly replicating the cockpit pictures from several books.
Fully intend to keep that as-is (minus the dust) and re-use that! I'd be hard pressed to do better these days anyway.

It's going to be a bumpy ride!
