Fiat-Terni "Tripoli" Armored Car 1/35

Recommended Posts

Another original model I created using mainly printed parts, along with brass, styrene sheet, copper wire, and some Tichy aftermarket rivets.

Hi xebec,

A most curious and rare vehicle, I did not see any of these before....maybe because I move in later periods of armor. Very well finished and a very nice base. Cheers and TC Francis.👍

Thank you Francis- Yes, there were only 14 ever made, and only 12 of those made it to the Italian colonies in Africa.

Thank you, the Lancia 1Z served in Czech livery as a first armoured car, used by our army in 1919. I have to build this version some  time in the future.

I love the overall finish, but especially those weighed wheels that add a very convincing touch to the model

Many thanks vaoinas- your kind words are appreciated.

That's some result!

That must have taken quite a while to research, print, build... before even putting tweezer to rivet. Excellent.

Thanks fittedkitchens. My preference for subjects that deviate from the beaten path makes it rather time consuming, you're right. But since I have a lot more time than money, it works out in the end, lol

Wow, that is unusual, lovely looking car, beautifully made, painted and weathered. The vignette just finishes it off brilliantly. Well done...

wow more great work on another great armoured car. These old designs had something special about them even if they now look a bit like something from wacky races.

Many thanks. They did have their own charm, especially Italian, Czech, and Spanish armored cars of the Era.
