kapam
Outstanding work! Reminds me that I have Tamiya's 1/72 Birdcage version in my stash - not that I could hope to get it looking this good! 👏👏

Navy Bird
Without a doubt, this is the best 1:72 Corsair I've ever seen. Well done Cookie - just an amazing demonstration of superb modelling skills. Consider my gob fully smacked! Cheers, Bill

Russmeister 101
I'm really having a hard time reconciling the fact that this is 72nd scale.... Exceptionally fine work and a masterpiece of weathering and attention to historical detail with the replacement port wing!! Outstanding all around. Today, you should win the internet!! Bravo that man!! 🏆🏆👏
François Escudé
What else to add ,,, It's 1/72, it's so well done and weathering is so ...real ? love the idea of remplacement wing !! Thanks for sharing !!
Lightningboy2000
Stunning! Really exceptional painting skills & very well planned out for each subsequent weathering stage. Excellently thought out, plus I'd mask those markings in the same order. These things do take some prior thinking & planning. I find this inspiring & hope if I ever tackle this subject that I would aspire to this level. Brilliant modelling & painting skills that show it can be done in The One True Scale! Corsairfoxfouruncle
Dang Cookie … How’d I miss this one. She looks incredible and you should be very proud. I do think Rolland N. “Ollie” Rinabarger flew 740 most of the time. However the planes were in a pool and Pappy always chose the worst one (maintenance or bad luck) so none of his pilots needed to.
