Hobby Boss 1/72 F-5E Tiger II ("Red 23" VFC-13)

Hello mates,

 

I'll join this STGB with Hobby Boss kit of F-5E.

 

 

Although this kit does have some of its inaccuracies, I'll leave them aside and do this build OOB.

 

I will use decals for box-art bird - "Red 23" from VFC-13.

Welcome to the GB, and with a very nice choice of colour scheme.

Don't worry about inaccuracies and built it OOTB, no kit is 100% accurate and trying to achieve perfection just results in models not being finished.

I'm trully sorry for "ignoring" GBs lately, but this year full of heatwaves killed off my scalebuilding mojo, so it took a while for me to get in the mood... I'm not there yet fully but slowly I'm coming back

 

While some of GBs had to be abandoned, I've focused on F-5 and Revell-o-gram GB, hopefully will be able to finish on time....

 

I've finished work on cockpit, and (landing?) lights on bottom of fuselage - lights were not following curvature of fuselage so I've sanded them down and polished with various gradations of sanding and polishing paper...
