I've one of these hiding in my stash, waiting for some confidence to do the rigging, you've done a really nice job so far and I really like your weathering 👍

 

are those the GasPatch turnbuckles?

Yes John, GasPatch turnbuckles. 80 million of them ....

Just a hint: many of the DH.2 uses a RAF Wire rigging, so no turnbuckles! That are streamlined flat steel rods instead of ropes, sitting in terminals at the ends. And yes, GasPatch Models has also a nice solution for that.

Sometimes it's just a question of economics. I can use these on my Albatros as well :)

 

Or I could just build in 1/72 and say to heck with turnbuckles...
