theplasticsurgeon
Rejoining with this kit. I found a receipt in the box - £3.30 on 25 June 1998. To build as this Berlin Gatow based aircraft. I've even got the right decals. Parts. Walkaround
theplasticsurgeon
I've built this kit twice before, As a former ATC cadet, it's a firm favourite - with 6 AEFs in my log book. and this Army Spitmunk
Robin-42
It’s a great little kit, of a great aircraft, even if the Brit canopy was a giant leap backwards!😁
theplasticsurgeon
Some prep, and the crew figures. As with my Spitmunk, the crew are from a modern jets, with crash-helmets, and I've removed the oxygen tube, but left the mask.
theplasticsurgeon
Crew sitting on their parachutes, helmets on. Fuselage about to be fitted. Fuselage and wings fitted. Those pilots in their modern jet hats. Something I remember fron AEFs. Aircraft harness is separate from your parachute harness. You're briefed pre-flight which to release if you had to jump.
theplasticsurgeon
Canopy and prop fitted. That black frame at the front of the canopy, should really be an internal roll-over frame.
