Will it run?

No Will...

Thank you very much to all for your kind words, always appreciated!

Today, the crank. Not a crazy one, just a normal crank...

And the new spring, a bit better, just a bit...

Thanks Andy for your kind words and the huge numbers of "like"! Much appreciated...

A small post, but a real step ahead!

All the hinges are not there (2/4) but main settings done.

You can see the first piece of wood, on the chassis, it's not the last one...

In addition to the excellent craftsmanship being shared, the use of so many materials is really great and informative to see - thank you for posting the various steps along the way.  Looing forward to your next update -

Cheers

Next? Armour, more, wood, more!

All these panels must be removable for riveting, another game, one day...

Hi,

This is really an impressive job Dan!

The armor plates look perfectly cut which mustn’t be so easy.

Same thing with the assembly of all those big and surely pretty heavy parts…

Awesome work as the design and conception of this “mod” must required a loooot of time.

Bravo Dan!

Do you anneal the aluminum? I use soap rubbed onto the sheet to get the right temperature. When the soap turns brown it’s done.

What you are doing is amazing. I wish that I’d thought of it!

Thanks Andy for your kind words. Skill a bit indeed, but a huge amount of patience and experience, surely!

To 74 years old, experience is one of rare benefit, against a lot of inconvenience...

Riveting and mending.

And yes, I'm proudly show you this part, putty is now unnecessary!

Not perfect, but this word is definitely out of my vocabulary...
