tangerine_sedge Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 I've not seen this in rumourmonger, but a must have kit for me! https://www.scalemates.com/nl/kits/nunu-pn24040-porsche-991-rsr-pink-pig-24h-le-mans-2018--1417522
Peter Roberts Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Don't mean to be a 'negative Nelly' but this was announced ages ago. I'll believe it when I see it, have become a bit skeptical about it. I hope I'm wrong 'cause I'm with you - a must have!
tangerine_sedge Posted July 11, 2022 Author Posted July 11, 2022 I must have missed it when it was first announced - I hope it's not stuck in licensing hell. There are loads of schemes for these Porsches, so I could easily buy 3 or 4. Ditto the Le Mans Ferrari 488s!
Bozothenutter Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Not necessarily the 'pink pig' as there can be only one. But having just recieved my Delta S4 let's just say NuNu/Beemax (wish they'd make their minds up) have my full attention!
Sabrejet Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 The Profil24 kit is a doozy and so is the MFH Ferrari 488 GTE. I wonder if NuNu will do either with the two cars kitted in 1/24 already?
JTninja Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Already done in 1/24, yes. They're also resin and triple the price of what NuNu charges for their kits. Important to note, they've shown images from the 991 RSR (GTE/GTLM) and the 991 GT3-R Some old pictures.. And GT3-R 2
tangerine_sedge Posted August 30, 2023 Author Posted August 30, 2023 This kit is model number PN24040, and they have released PN24039, but nothing with a later model number. This of course means nothing, but....... I'm hopeful that it will be the next kit released....... maybe?!
IT_Man Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 I'm eyeing up some of their kits one day.. got quite into the BTCC in the mid-90s!! FYI, they are now being distributed in the UK by The Hobby Company (who do Tamiya, Italeri and others) so they might be more readily available. Can't see this kit on their site, though there are a couple Beemers in the following code numbers.
Ben Brown Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 I’m looking forward to both of the 911s as well as the BMW M4 GT3 they recently announced. Now, if only someone would release a Huracan GT3 Evo, NSX GT3, and a 488 GTE…. Ben

Ben The MFH 488 GTE is a nice kit, and being curbside, a tad cheaper than the 'full detail' kits. There is a lot of detail despite being a more straightforward kit. 1
Ben Brown Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 I’d love to build one, but MFH kits are out of my price range. I’d make an exception in a heartbeat if they ever released a Huracan GT3! Ben
tangerine_sedge Posted January 6, 2024 Author Posted January 6, 2024 Spot model indicating an August 2024 release date... 1

Ben Brown Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 (edited) SK Decals has a test shot and posted a picture on their Facebook page. Link (Sorry, stupid iPad won’t let me post the photo.) I wonder if SK have a hand in producing Nunu’s decals? The quality of the decals in their other kits is outstanding. Ben Edited January 6, 2024 by Ben Brown
Sabrejet Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 The Profil24 version is available and is VERY good. It'll save the wait...
tangerine_sedge Posted March 1, 2024 Author Posted March 1, 2024 (edited) Some 'built' pictures have appeares on Spot model... Spoiler Edited March 1, 2024 by tangerine_sedge edited to add : I accidentally spoilered these pictures - and can't seem to unspoiler them - doh! 2 1
Flying Pancake Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 (edited) Looks like it's finally available for order https://www.hlj.com/1-24-scale-racing-series-porsche-911-type-991-rsr-2018-le-mans-24-hours-class-winner-nunpn24040 Edited April 16, 2024 by Flying Pancake 1
Ben Brown Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Looking forward to this one! I guess they canceled the 911 GT3R they had announced at the same time they announced the RSR? Ben

That link doesn't work for me, it gives a 404 for some reason (I think the link is correct, but the website isn't letting me open that page directly) although it seems to be the correct link. Just go to top level of the website and search instead... 1
