Arie Vos Posted August 4, 2022 Author Share Posted August 4, 2022 Completed the fuel tanks. The Italeri kit contains the 150 gallon fuel tanks. I'll use these for this kit. The ESCI kit has no fuel tanks. Just the pylons. The center line kit comes from an Italeri one. For the ESCI one I wanted to use 275 gallon tanks. The 275 gallon tank is in most cases used as center line tank for the F-5E/F. My tanks come from AK3D and are 3D-printed. On pictures I saw that some kind of valve was open while on the ground. So drilled a small hole and with my punch and die set a circular piece of plastic was glued into it. Arie Vos Posted September 7, 2022 Author Share Posted September 7, 2022 I use MrPaint. This paint indeed is a bit glossy. Will add gloss varnish/coat in the coming days. MrPaint dries very very fast.
