From Russia With Love.

MI-24A  HIND. 1/72 by Zvezda. RFI

Welcome to the RFI of a build I finished a while ago.

As the weather was nice I decided to take my shots outside. ☀️

The kit itself was a Lovely gift from the very kind @Nikolay Polyakov . The whole story of what and why can be found in the WIP thread here.

It was a lovely build and was a real joy to paint and weather.

I hope you Enjoy the shots taken in the beautiful English summer time. A million miles away from where I started in the depths of winter.

Off we go then.

Thanks again to Nikolay for the lovely gift.  I had a lot of fun. Hope you did too.

Happy Modelling Chums.

Nato Codename "The Flying Conservatory" 😄 Or at least it should be!

Fantastic detail and finishing, it looks a well used chopper!

Ace work on your part!  I always liked the looks of the HIND A more than the subsequent versions--much more threatening in appearance.  Don't be deceived by the looks of the troop compartment.  The real thing is tiny!  I cannot imagine being stuffed in there with seven of my fully equipped "best friends."  LOL.

Another greaaaaat addition to your collection Spad !!

Super "Dragonfly of Death" as she is nicknamed sometimes... far away from here !!

Your thread was a pleasure as usual !!

And hat of for @Nikolay Polyakov for that great gift !!

Now, having a great Nachos meal together is "De rigueur" :rofl2::rofl2:

 CC

“Dragon fly off death” sounds terrifying. You sometimes forget what these things are used for.  Thanks for the kind words Cc

I always, obviously wrongly, thought that the A model had side by side seating..... :wall:

apparently so. I’m hoping it’s right. I’m not changing it now. 😜

I think the idea of «back-to-back» build was interesting! We had the same kits with the same aftermarket parts, and even the same paints... Now we’re both finished our Hinds with our own style - ‘twas amazing, Johnny! 👏
