That is just stunning - cracking paint and the dayglo is excellent! Great heat staining too!

its a Trumpeter kit so it will no doubt be plagued by inaccuracies but I have to say that I really enjoyed building it

And isn't that what it's all about?! Whatever the inaccuracies ther might be it still looks like a family model Hun to me - and a rather lovely one at that! :)

Top job!!

Beautiful work, and a very attractive result. Too bad the Trumpeter kit has so many distracting errors 😠

Thanks, I know the kit will have it's issues but I really enjoyed building it.

Thanks Keith, really glad you like her and I agree completely about the fun part as this one has left me feeling good rather than like I have had to fight it all the way.

Awesome paint job! I love the metallic effects.

Thanks, I was worried about doing them but they turned out okay I think.

Well first of all a stunning build Craig and that dayglo finish is on another level it really does look like an aircraft that's had a life in the sun.

Fantastic work! That's Revell aqua colour?? Wow, that's not half bad, is it?

This plane (chase 1) is definitely high on my own to-build list, as most things associated with the X-15 program are. We just need a decent F-100 kit...

Cheers,

J
