The Airfix Game

In my dim and distant I was part of a living history group called the Khaki Chums. On Saturday we had our first reunion since we hung up our uniforms a few years ago when we collectively became too old to portray convincing soldiers. As usual when we get together we play the 'Airfix Game', and were very humbled to get recognition from Airfix themselves, through the powers of social media. (Hopefully this link will take you to the post on twitter)

Anyone else play it? For those in the dark, someone assumes a pose from one of Airfix 1/32 or 1/76 figure sets, and everyone else has to guess who he is. WW2 figures are a good start, but other periods are a bit trickier. We've been playing it since the 1980s, but I've not encountered the game outside the Khaki Chums.

😆 Bonkers, but in a good way! You're missing a rocket, a trolley acc and a canoe, I think... OMG, I'm getting old!

The missing bits are all part of the fun! (Also a bit of a giveaway 😉 )
