bootneck Posted July 4, 2022 Share Posted July 4, 2022 Yes, a dry dock normally applies to a dock that a ship can enter/float into and then be drained out, leaving the ship high and dry (dry-docked). Such activities are for maintenance and repairs; whereas, the view of the sub is at a construction facility where the vessel is constructed out of the water.
