A pair of Eduard 1/48th MKXVI Spitfires

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone.

Here are my latest builds, a pair of Eduard dual combo Spitfire XVI.

A beautifully produced pair of kits, luckily it came with a Cartograph decal sheet and not the new ones by Eduard.

Built oob I only added a Eduard Brassin resin engine to the highback Spit, a kit in it's own right.

Thanks for looking.

A really convincing, great looking pair of Spits – drooping elevators and all!

Kind regards,

Joachim

Many thanks Joachim, you corrected me a few years ago about the drooping elevators on Spits... I took it on board!

These are both beautifully done and I love the one with the engine.  I have an Eduard Spit project in mind and had not thought about adding an engine but now you've got my wheels turning.  Thanks for posting.
