Mikro-Mir 1/72 De Havilland DH108 Swallow

Recommended Posts

A fun little kit,

It needs a little care and attention as it's short run and there's a bit of flash and some of the locating holes are a tad small for the parts.

WIP Here

Primed with Tamiya Neutral Grey

Painted with Tamiya Nato Black, Flat Aluminium, Rubber Black, Lacquer Gloss Black, ColourCoats Light Aircraft Grey, Alclad High Speed Silver.

Weathered with Citadel Nuln Oil, Flory Dark Dirt.

Finished with Windsor & Newton Satin Varnish.

Looks very nice, picked one up yesterday. It seems to match the plans in Barrie Hygates book on British experimental jets pretty well.

Super little model, recently added this to my stash and your excellent build has inspired me to build it sooner rather than later!

Cheers, Paul
