The subject will be a HQ vehicle.   General Harry Crerar  was often pictured at the wheel of the jeep.  He was Canada's highest ranked field commander during the war in NWE.

Nice choice. General Crerar is another Canadian I'm going to have to read up on.

Missed ten days at the bench with a family member visiting, but finally got in to cut some sprue.   Steps 1 through 3 are done, essentially the engine construction in two stages followed with it's attachment to the vehicle frame.  Skipped to Step 7, which was just a single part comprising the muffler, exhaust pipe, and and protective bottom plate.  This totaled 14 parts.

 

 

 

Next up will be Steps 4 through 6, the front and rear axles, drive shaft and leaf springs.   It looks to be a nice detailed little kit, but the amount of clean up on round parts is not cool.   My kit looks like the molds slipped slightly, resulting in a lot of seams everywhere.
