That's beautiful Terry - shame on that Patriot for ending it!

Thanks Cookie, and I agree, that Patriot spoiled a nice looking Sabre!

Lovely finish on this one Terry.👍

I’ve been meaning to try some MRP paints/lacquers for a while, having seen a few excellent models on BM - your build has finally persuaded me to go and order some!

Thank you Matt. I really can't recommend the MRP paints enough. Key to success is several very light coats applied at very low pressure. I seem to recall that the tail and wingtips had a couple of white undercoats (over the silver) then around 3 or 4 orange coats, yet the detail still showed through unaffected. Brilliant stuff and much easier to clean the airbrush than standard acrylics!

Late to the party but I caught sight of this beauty on CCs thread earlier.

Thank you Johnny! I'll take that as very high praise from the master of superb looking paint finishes!

@Terry1954

That is lovely.  I have that same microscale sheet and was thinking about it for the forthcoming F-86 GB. I'm further inspired by your lovely finish on this,

Alan
