[MBT] 1/72 FV4034 Challenger II

last week is a Russia Tractor, this week has British MBT 😁

QC of the rubber track in this kit is not so good, you could one of them can't connect to form a loop in underneath view 😒

Nice clean build. You're certainly rattling through these kits at a rate of knots.

I know how annoying it is when tracks are too short. A little suggestion, If you cannot join the tracks at the top - how about a small cardboard or plasticard plug for he gap in the tracks? Painted and with a little mud added it would hide the space.

Unconventional decal placement, but nice job.

 

This kit comes with a great decal sheet but in 1/72 trumpeter don't give full decal placement instructions. On scalemates.com it is worth looking at the trumpeter 1/35 kit instructions as they are usually more comprehensive on the decal options.

 

I'd paint the lower hull and fit the tracks separate and you could hide the join at the top under the side skirts, superglue can come in handy.

i already used both suggestions in followup 1/72 AFV when met the same problem.

these are AFVs i completed in last two years, not finish one every week.

i only free those mini AFVs from boxes, then changed the subject to enjoy SD and other japanese brands, i.e. haven't paint any AFV after April 😂
