Calibre117
Hi all, I've been thinking about putting together a 1/32 scale Super Hornet and fully kitting it out with lights - cockpit lights, fuselage strips, and a lit-up afterburner plume. I plan on hanging it from my ceiling to serve as a bit of a light at night :D.. Would it be feasible to pack all the necessary lighting and power storage within the fuselage to make it have sufficient brightness in the dark, and furthermore power endurance? Any suggestions? Thanks all.
Cairnsy
G’Day Calibre, I have a bunch of 1-32 Supers and Growlers to do myself (some would say too many..) so I’ll be watching with interest, but I dare not touch electronics I struggle enough with getting the plastic to behave for me! During research for my own builds I stumbled across some YouTube videos of a Trumpeter F/A-18F model build complete with lighting so that might be worth as a starting point. Clonefox80 is the owner so if you search for that hopefully you’ll find it. looking forward to seeing some progress mate. cheers Cairnsy
