I know it's played out but I needed something easy and interesting to get me reinvigorated. I wanted to keep it a simple out of the box build but I had to put seat belts in it. Other then that it'll be OOB. Tape was too tight and masking putties were a little too unruly. In the end I used the AK masking putty and post-it roll. Regards, Adrian First thank you for the kind words. Yes it had the tropical filter it will be painted separately and added with the rest of the detail parts. I deliberately left it off because it complicated getting a clean demarcation line behind it on the engine cowling. Have a great day and thanks again for the compliments. Fixing (hiding) screw ups has become my specialty 🤣 It's always three steps forward two steps back with me. I spend more time fixing boo boos than building. I had to strip and repaint a black f4u-5 eight times due to paint and decal problems. It's amazing I don't quit the hobby.
