aircraft is the biggest group in britmodeller. but i mostly enjoy miniatures size model kit now, and typical aircraft kits, even in 1/72 is too big, or too few details. So this is my one and only one painted fighter from WWII.😅

Lovely painting as always. Interesting that the one aircraft that you make is one of the most difficult camouflage schemes to achieve with brushpainting! Did you enjoy it?

 

It always surprises me how different model types all tend to require very different and specific techniques. Partly this is a necessity (shiny bright car paint looks nothing like beaten up war damaged aircraft!), but also partly because people tend to make the same kind of models. I think to some degree, 'group think' plays it's part where everyone copies each other and styles evolve in their own 'bubbles'. 

 

So it's really good to see people who excel at certain styles try different ones. It brings different approaches and techniques, which can only be a good thing!

the quality for 1997's molding is not bad at all.

 

i enjoy trying to follow its camo even the result not so good.

yes, i also feel so boring to see similar / same models sharing in HK's forum, FB, YT, etc.

they just follow typical way / method / style to complete a model kit.

and even criticize other who not follow standard / original color scheme ...

 

i like to try different techniques and use them on other kind of model kits. i.e. my collections seems so non-standard, but interesting.😗

after trying miniatures, i tend to enjoy model kits in smaller scale / size.😆
