1/35 M113A1 pre T50 Turret - Long Tan version

I was hoping that AFV Club would release a 1/35 M113A1 pre T50 Turret - Australian Long Tan version in their new line up of M113 kits.  I know Mouse House did a resin conversion set, which is very rare.  Any ideas on kit and AM options?  I have heard that the ACAV kit's deck could be used along with the 50 cal.  But I don't want to buy kit bash two kits and find other issues.

 

I'm interested in their kit 35291 Australian Army M113A1 APC w/ T50 Turret, but would prefer a Long Tan version, with the 50 cal and shield...this is to go with a 1/35 Australian Centurion in Vietnam, also made by AFV Club.

I have and am in the process of building the AFV T50 version and if you purchase this kit it comes with the ACAV parts

Hi again Peter,

 

Checked my Firestorm version of the shielded M113 and found that the air filter unit and hatch were about 1mm to narrow length wise width seemed ok therefore suggest sticking with AFV club kit and use the hatch and filter unit from that, otherwise get hold of an academy kit as it is better than the tamiya version.

I went with the Callsign models conversion which I got from Historex Agents.Good kit and fitted the Academy kit well👍
