stevej60 Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Two week's and here we go another 109 scheme to be decided on. 4
stevej60 Posted June 6, 2022 Author Posted June 6, 2022 Hi folk's well here goes, two weeks I'm on 2-10 shift so I do an hour in the loft from each day that should be ample time to complete this one plus I'm of the weekend the GB ends.Looks like I'll go for the Slovak scheme which is an all over splinter scheme with blue underside's very different from the blue fuselage sides of the other two.So box of bit's and todays progress. Bought a 21'st Century toys 1/32 G14 for a fiver ages ago at a show so that's occupied me for the last week or so with care these kits do build well if a little clunky in places. 5
stevej60 Posted June 8, 2022 Author Posted June 8, 2022 Morning folk's last day or two's progress with the cockpit. 5
stevej60 Posted June 14, 2022 Author Posted June 14, 2022 Hi folk's,really lost a bit of mojo over the last week so sat yesterday and pushed on for the fast approaching finish, undersides painted after primer yesterday and this morning the lighter of the two greens drying nicely.Day of tomorrow so hope to have the darker green on and glossed for decals. 7
spitfire Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Incredible, a trio of 109's, but looks and sounds like like you are having fun so carry on, the 21st Century stuff is also fun to build, I built their 109, Stuka and C205 many moons ago and even though they are a bit clunky they are fun builds and look great when finished. Cheers Dennis 1
stevej60 Posted June 15, 2022 Author Posted June 15, 2022 Hi folk's pushed on and back on track, now need to mask and spray fuselage stripe and underside wing tips and then gloss for decals.everything left to add is in the process of being painted. 5
Jinxman Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Looks great - v.convincing. Looking forward to seeing some colour and decals on it. 1

stevej60 Posted June 17, 2022 Author Posted June 17, 2022 Hi folk's,well the original MB decal's were a challenge but they're on,just a few stencils to add now with just a couple of day's to go should be fine. 7

TonyW Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Very smart indeed. Congratulations on your triplets, a first for the GB's so far I believe. How on earth are you going to top this in the Revell/Monogram GB? I suggest three Monogram B52's 1
stevej60 Posted June 19, 2022 Author Posted June 19, 2022 She's had more weathering than the previous two with a dust and grime spray especially underneath all in all I like the different look of this scheme over the BoB era aircraft. 4
bigbadbadge Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Looks good Steve, I am not a fan of the type, but your models looks great. Chris 1
