Hairtrigger
Hello, Latest off the production line for your perusal. Brush job, Humbrol and Revell paints.. Out of the box apart from the control yolk made from bits from an Airfix Wildcat landing gear. The decals went on a treat considering the age of them, I cut out the letters and trimmed the roundels very close. 26

2996 Victor
Beautiful workmanship on this classic kit! My Dad built one of these about forty-five years ago, when I was a nipper. I still have it, although it's in need of some TLC. I bought another one for the Matchbox 50 GB but it hasn't made it. Think I'll have to build it, though. Cheers, Mark
TallBlondJohn
Very nice. I remember this one fondly from my childhood, lots of weapons and easy to paint. Wrong stand of course but let's just move on shall we 😉 1

Neodymium magnets one in the fuselage and one on the Airfix stand..

Winenut
I love it! Great job on a classic Matchbox kit So why did you use an Airfix stand and put the stand the wrong way around??? 🤣 There's a can of worms!

Cheers, It didn't come with the Matchbox stand oddly enough .. No ref to a stand in the instructions. Just got a Tempest Matchbox from a mate of mine no stand either.. Around wrong way as in first pic not as easy to see it for the pic ... The Airfix stands work well for use with magnets.. Snip off top lug and super glue the magnet to it .
