Panzerjäger I (late version) 1/35 - DRAGON

Recommended Posts

This time i decided to paint almost all details. I did also pinwash and small chipping effect where I'm going to leave orginal paint.  I think its time to paint African desert cammo.

Absolutely first class chipping on this - brilliant! You’re going to add the desert camo over this? Will you mask all the tool handles and so on, or was the desert camo just splashed over everything in real life?

Not over all. Inside superstructure, inner gun shield and gun barrel will remain in oryginal color. THE TOOLS were not disasembled during RAPAINTING proces, but l'm going to do heavy chipping over them. I will send today my paint concep photo.

Looks great! I really like the shabby paint, it looks very lively and natural.
And PE is absolutely amazing, it is difficult to achieve such detail in plastic.

Vytautas

I totally agree  the superstructure made from PE looks much better.

WOW!  That's fantastic!  I thought the pre-shading was good, but the desert colour and chipping take this to another level.

I recomend you to buy soldering iron with replaceable tips. I use T12-I tips.

If memory serves it does have replaceable tips. And is variable temp.  think trying to use solder/flux paste (so both combined) is part of my issue... Will try on some spare stuff and see... Not done much

Next stage. I added some rust, streaks, dust, etc. Upper hull is not finished yet I must to add some fuel, oil stains, and some special effects. On rear rack I'm going also add some extra stuff. I think this is my last update before final gallery.
