Renek
I've been building another Bentley on an extended wheelbase for some time, this time I was inspired by Birkin's special ... As a basis, I used some parts from the Airfix kit, specifically the frame parts, the axle and the engine base ... Everything else in the photos ... New resin whels... Rebuild dash... Brothers... My work place... Metal parts... Plastic parts...

Jo NZ
That's extremely nice, Renek, and it looks a lot less labour intensive than my build. Congratulations! How did you make the body?

How did you make the body? Thank you, I've been building the car since December 2021, after a while when I have some time. It's just that what's left is so slow. I glued the body pontoon from plastic tapes similarly to the hull plating and the rest of the layered sealant ...

Noel Smith
Lovely model. Nice to see the Monoposto converted from that now very elderly kit. The Hartford Shock absorbers that you fabricated from plastic card look much more realistic than the blobs of plastic that are in the Airfix Kit. Incidentally there is website name Unobtainium where 3D conversion parts are being developed for the Airfix Kit like wire wheels and replacement engine

I know about resin parts, but I tried to make individual adjustments so that I enjoyed it. But my bikes are resin, painted and printed ... I enclose a photo for comparison... It's nothing special, but I'm still happy with them. I only added metal valves from MFH. I think it's much more fun to create something than to go to the net and order
