Zigomar
Mussolini was eager to participate at what he thought would be a milk run for this German allies. So an Expeditionary Group was created and to the east went. The Regia Aeronautica had a couple of units amongst those the 356° Squagriglia from te 21° Gruppo Autonomo CT. Some of the machines were modified to carry wing cameras and were used as reco planes. Considering the frozen conditions of the combats, the MC 200 were meant to be replaced by the MC 202, but then it was retreat time after Stalingrad so the"Folgore" did not see combat. The model is the Pacific Coast Model in 48th, a great improvement on the Classic Airframe and Smer kits, and still hold well the comparaison with the Italeri's kit. The camo is typical of Macchi "Poached eggs",Verde Mimetico 2 with Giallo Mimetico 4 blotches, filled wit Marrone Mimetico. Undersides are Griggio Mimetico.
