Camwader
My 1/12th scale garage has appeared in a couple of my earlier posts as a background to the models in the posts i.e. the wood strip canoe, and the Deckel FP1 universal milling machine, but this is the first time it’s the subject in its own right. It’s one of those projects that just potters along in the background, with occasional additions and updates. I took a few snaps today just to get a feel for how it is developing. I think the really obvious missing item is some sort of car lift, which will have to be scratch built as there’s nothing available at this scale.
Pete in Lincs
Quite amazing. Tons of lovely detail. I imagine the only thing stopping you is a lack of bits in this scale. I've not seen the Minivan before, that's nice to see this large. And I like the Porsche too, another one I've not seen before. Any chance of more pictures of them? I'm looking forward to the lift build.
dnl42
Outstanding work on this! There are quite a few photos where you need to look for the subtle clues that it's a miniature.

I saw the 3D printed pillar drill advertised on Ebay at 1/24th - the vendor was happy to do me one at 1/12 and there was sufficient detail for it to work OK. The Porsche is a resin cast finished model. The Mini van is diecast metal which started life as an AA van before I resprayed it.
