Done 5 to date, 2 pair of 100's and 104's and a rf101. Only 3 still exist thanks to an accident which wrecked the silver f100 and took a chunk of the rf101's tail that was claimed by the hoover before I noticed so had to reluctantly cull it.

You asked for old century models and this was the only one I had handy.

This was a 'why not?' rather than a 'what if' inspired by the BoB Hawk scheme of years ago. I was asking the rhetorical question, why doesn't the Luftwaffe have a Defense of the Realm memorial paint job from time to time? Rhetorical question, as the answer is very obvious. Of course there is another question underneath that one...

I hope they inspire some to try something different ;)

Edit: for those who are reaching for their Aviators, the dayglo is less bright in real life, thankfully. It just seems to blow the mind of the camera sensor ;)

Hi all

I'm not in the Group Build so I hope it's still okay for me to post my 1/72 Academy F-104G Starfighter just for inspiration

I actually just completed it a few days ago and it's now made it's way into the cabinet of glory! 🤣

Cheers

Setting a very low (and dusty) bar.

Built in the days when I didn't varnish models - tried to blow the dust off and a good portion of decal on the wing disintegrated !
