I'd like to post something exciting but I'm afraid I've been just essentially joining lots of bits together and cleaning up,

added a few weights to the nose gear well too.

She's coming together nicely Paul, steadily becoming more Starfighter shaped.

Looks like you have enough weight by the nose wheel, much better to be safe than sorry.

It balances nicely now on its leg's when i stick the resin engine in the rear, so I think we are in a good place weight balance wise.

since last time, I've been adding more panels and the tail is added too sporting its flying surfaces to boot.

man this thing's big. it's the biggest kit i've ever done. the screwdriveresque tool gives you some kind of impression.

the tanks alone i think are equivalent size wise to some of the 72 builds on the gb.

there's been a production line of those fellas

some ak steel has been thrown about

...together with some tamiya black acrylic to highlight any of my inadequecies in fitting things. (and there are numerous)

Definitely taking shape mate, it may not fit together perfectly but you are doing a great job on sorting it out, and the surface details do look nice.

🇺🇦

thanks mate. this eve i worked on cleaning up the external tanks, cutting off, sanding and prepping the am wheels, and then coated everything that was ready to accept it with black primer.

Italeri responded straight away what great service thankfully as I don't know how to make plunge molds craig.

Well, that was lucky, I've tried to contact Italeri previously on 2 occasions and both times got zero response 🤔

Italeri have been super efficient and great.

here's the wheels in position, some rescribing has been going on.
