Dansk
I'd like to post something exciting but I'm afraid I've been just essentially joining lots of bits together and cleaning up, added a few weights to the nose gear well too.
modelling minion
She's coming together nicely Paul, steadily becoming more Starfighter shaped. Looks like you have enough weight by the nose wheel, much better to be safe than sorry. 🇺🇦

(and there are numerous) the main wings got their slats and flaps added today also.

modelling minion
Definitely taking shape mate, it may not fit together perfectly but you are doing a great job on sorting it out, and the surface details do look nice. 🇺🇦

modelling minion
She's a big bugger isn't she, going to take a fair amount of paint on top of that primer. 🇺🇦
Dansk
she has wheels now. after this shot they were given a dirt wash and mounted. and this crack appeared with a litle too much force. so i'm not a happy bunny right now. I've written to italeri. let's see what happens. hud and shroud etc all pretty sorted though 2

modelling minion
I hope they come through mate as I haven't seen a cheap one of these anywhere. There is always the possibility of using the original to plunge mold a replacement from clear plastic. 🇺🇦
Dansk
Italeri responded straight away what great service thankfully as I don't know how to make plunge molds craig.

Well, that was lucky, I've tried to contact Italeri previously on 2 occasions and both times got zero response 🤔
Dansk
Italeri have been super efficient and great. here's the wheels in position, some rescribing has been going on. the tanks i've cleaned up and primed again. and the nose on: needs some clean up there and more clean up and rescribing continues elsewhere.

Dansk
Thanks Craig. Well this baby is getting packed away for a long week while we move house. hope she survives the ride. I'll have to make do with following everyone elses builds in the meantime.
