mark.au
Hello all. This one was finished a few weeks ago but I just got around to taking the glamour pics. This was an out of the box build of the venerable Dragon kit. All the markings are painted using masks created on my Silouhette cutter. The kit itself was ok, but the hard and brittle plastic made it a little tricky to work with. My interpretation of the markings are well detailed in the WIP thread, though I don't think there's much controversy there. Cheers. Wlad
Very nice build. Initially I didn't like the Ta 152H as it didn't look like a fighter to me. Too elongated. After following your build I now see elegance in the design, even though I can't imagine it in a turning dogfight with those long wings. Cheers, Wlad 1
Dunny
Mark, This was a lovely build to watch, and the finish certainly doesn't disappoint. Cracking finish of an unusual scheme, Cheers, Roger 1
bigbadbadge
Great work on the scheme and markings Mark, was a joy to watch this come together . That's not something I usually say about German WW2 aircraft !!! 😉 Fascinating watching your painting process too. Chris 1

Great 152 btw Edited May 28, 2022 by echen

jackroadkill
Such a fantastic job; an excellent representation of a superbly-performing aircraft. Thankfully there weren't more of them in action.
PattheCat
Following your build thread was a pleasure. Glad to see your Wulf appear here. I hope it means you feeling better. This one should get a 10 from any jury. A cracking job you did here! Congrats. Pat.
mark.au
Thanks for all of the kind comments, much appreciated. Interesting how there's two "Green 9" builds up here at RFI right now; one before capture and one after. Cheers.

I almost called it that but couldn’t quite get to RAF roundels being sheep’s clothing! 🤷♂️😂 3 hours ago, Walter said: Beautiful, I wish I could take photo's like that. Thanks. My wife is a photographer so we have some good kit. It comes down to lighting and then lens quality and then camera body. A tripod is a must, too.
