for vehicle model kits, i only enjoy its livery, therefore mostly build F1 or Bike...

 

 

 

These are some old stuffs i bulit before,

that was a period I use tamiya enamel, gaia paints, spray cans to enjoy modeling.

since some of them maybe built 7~8 years before,

i can't remember clearly what colors, technique i applied on them.

so group them together in [FSS] and share with you.

 

i only rescue a few photos from my photobucket,

so don't have 6-view, blow-up, details as per recent builds.

but have Photoshop posters ...

Wow,that is some collection there! I must say that the Red Bull is my favourite and that the Lamborghini has a very rude decal on the bonnet and I just hope there are are no school kids looking at this!!

These are great, I'm always amazed at the sharpness and quality of finish you're able to get. I guess it's a long time ago, but do you have a rough memory of what kind of varnish and how applied to get such a nice even gloss?

 

Again, great to see such a wide variety of modelling subjects!

That’s a great collection. I think applying the decals well can be the most challenging aspect! You have obviously cracked that discipline.

in my culture, it just a typical art style: pin-ups which always shown on aircraft. however, i still delete that blow-up photo.

anyone who is interested, want to look clearly, go search from my flickr.

 

 

for me, i like Ferrari, Michael Schumacher. and cigarette livery in old time.😛

i just use typical mr.hobby gloss topcoat spray can. but have do the "polishing".

DUCATI 1199 has polish, so the surface is that mirror effect.

 

 

 

 

 

other kits that i have polish it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

but even you polished them, they still oxidized after 3~4years, and became semi-gloss finish...😂

there has specific products to soften, enhance ductablitiy of large piece of water decals.

it is very useful when apply decals, especial vehicle livery.😉

no, i bought them since i build model kits ~10 years ago, and still using that bottles of decal fluid.

other brands also has similar products.
