davecov
My build of the Matchbox 1/72 Messerschmitt 410 (PK-113) As a bit of fun, I didn't use any paint, filler, plastic card or aftermarket bits so that it could be built as Matchbox intended - at least like the illustration on the side of the box: You can read about this build here. Pete Robin
I must give a massive round of applause for building it the way Matchbox intended. Also for getting the joints damned near perfect. That's gotta be a first. Well done. Regards Pete

TheyJammedKenny!
All of the above and more! This is great. I remember my dad building and finishing this kit in the 70's.
davecov
Thanks everybody. 👍 This build brought back a lot of memories for me too. I built one of these when it was released in the 70s and it has always been one of my favourite Matchbox aircraft. I had never built another one of these until now. Dave Slowbuild
No filler and can’t see the joins - amazing! Well done Dave!
Hairy Stickler
Superb job Dave. I'm almost welling up with the nostalgia! Like several others on 5his thread, I made this too when it came out. We had a tiny newsagents/toy shop in the village where I grew up that used to sell Matchbox kits. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a village model shop now! 1
Holzhamer
A trip down memory lane… had great time building and “flying” this kit against their Halifax model, sometime around 83/84. Thanks for posting! 1
