My Two Phat Greek Scooters: Far Diorama

Recommended Posts

Years ago, I started a “Family model” (two-seater) Scooter project. Got halfway through it then life showed up. And not in a good way. Lost my job, apartment and had to move out of state. Along with my passion to build eroded to nothing. Fortunately, after some time things changed for the better and it was time to get back to my scooter build. And like my life, my build idea changed too. It was going to be based on a theoretical Royal Australia Air Force Scheme from Richard Chafer, but now she will be flying for the Hellenic Air Force. And because I enjoy building in pairs, I added another scooter to this project. An A-4M, she’s the “Single Girl”. Flown by Natasha Drakos callsign “Chiana”. “Family model” is flown by Zander “Boomer” Leos

Hi Steven, fantastic that you're back making models. Sounded like a rough time. Wasn't that much of a fan of the A-4 but I definitely am now!

Love the Star Wars markings on the single seater! Very nicely painted figures as well, especially what looks like a lady pilot. What scale are they & what kits?

Very nice work on this pair. Particularly like the restrained weathering and grey-toned camouflage.

Thanks Maginot. I wanted to move further away from my comfort zone during painting. I edged away a bit but next project, want to push myself more.

I'm glad you guys like them,

Steven

R-reet. Sorry to hear about life’s tribulations, I hope things have sorted themselves out.   What’s better than a Scooter? Many Scooters!  🛵   Was it I have an idea or maybe too many ideas?   Lovey work.  😉
