AliGauld Posted June 10, 2022 Author Share Posted June 10, 2022 I clear coated the Mustang this morning and got on with some markings and stencils. And with the doors popped off. There's still one to do but that will be on the flap when I finally get round to it. They have been hit with softener and I'll see how that goes but I think it'll need more over the upper roundel. Thanks Simon, I decided that I'd better remove the digit and get some of the ancillaries covered with paint as I'm heading out for the pictures tonight. So various bits were clipped off, cleaned up , primed and partly or fully painted. The most difficult were the flaps where the wing attachment side had three connections which were the side and top kind and there wasn't a lot of room to clean them up without damaging the flaps, but this is a minor niggle which hasn't detracted from my enjoyment of this kit. We saw Top Gun a couple of weeks ago. It was Jurassic World tonight and I don't know where all the criticism is coming from. Then I straightened the small actuator legs back out as they shouldn't be in danger any more. Next episode ---- Weathering.
