I keep being asked if I want to enable push notifications

Each time I check the notifications, the bell, I keep being asked if I want to enable push notification.  I select "No Thanks" but it still keeps asking me.  Can it be turned off?

Have you just installed a new browser or something Mike?  Maybe come off your meds?

 

All it is is the forum asking for permission to send you notifications about new posts and messages that you've subscribed to, while you have your browser open.  You can select Allow to get those, or Deny to not get informed.  Entirely up to you

 

Sometimes this happens if you have a new version of your browser download and install itself too, but it's mostly if you get a new browser or device

When I first joined the site the Notifications used to make a small sound when I logged on or received a notification. I get the small red number over the bell now but don't get the little sound/beep anymore? Not important but just wondering what happened to it?
