Marcel
A half of the Hurristory kit (the 2nd half is waiting for Royal Yugoslav decals). This Hurricane Mk.I was flown by a SAAF ace John Frost, No. 3. squadron in Abyssinia, spring 1941. Built straight from the box including the tiny photo etched parts, painted with Gunze paints and varnishes. The aerial is Uschi "Fine" thread. 62

Bertie McBoatface
Very tasty! If you are going to do a clean one, always do a satin one. It looks beautiful.

Dave Slowbuild
Gorgeous! The dark earth / dark green colours look very convincing too, their tones match each other nicely. Great job! Dave
Marcel
Oh thank you gentlemen. I am afraid my photos look better than my models - hail to Pentax then Dark Green and Dark Earth are Gunze C, both lightened a bit. I don’t know how accurate they are but I like them too. Hairy Stickler
Lovely job. I agree with Bertie regarding the satin finish. I've always been a matt man but recently finished a Tamiya Zero in satin and was very pleased with the results.
Marcel
Thank you very much gentlemen. My models used to be matt - until I have run out of my old trusty bottle of Pactra. Now I use Gunze flat as a final coat and it turns satin. Probably after two coats of gloss (under and over decals).
