NATO 75 Years GB Chat

Let me propose a NATO 75 years GB for 2024. Anything military from any NATO member since the year that specific nation joined the Alliance is an eligible subject. Here's hoping that 🇫🇮 and 🇸🇪 subjects from 2023 forward would become eligible .

 

Right, let's start a list, but not just any list! There's a flag in the order of the current members joining the Alliance. The founding members, and when several members joined simultaneously, are placed in alphabetical order. They don't mean you'd have to build your model from that country, but it'd be great to have all of them represented!

Love the idea; I think there are a few challenging ones there like Luxembourg. Oddly French stuff is one area I feel meh about. I’d instinctively think of something like a Reforger ANG kit, but with this idea of covering the whole Alliance I’d be happy with most of the pre 90s members.

I wonder if Sweden and Finland will be a part of NATO by the time this build comes around ? How will you treat states that weren't always apart of NATO but joined post cold-war ? Will they only be eligible for builds post joining ? In other words Poland joined in the 1990’s but you wouldn't want to build a Mig 15 as that predates the joining of NATO ?

And one A400 based in Belgium. But those big grey hulks aren’t many peoples cup of tea.  I think only a small minority would want to do them or say the Macedonian Air Force.
