MiG-3 early type, Soviet fighter 1941, 1/48 Trumpeter

Hi All,

 

Trumpeter 1/48 kit

Filled the wheel arches, installed lamellas at the lower radiator inlet, changed the exhaust pipe fairings, added details in the pilot's cabin

Unfortunately, almost nothing is visible in my photos

I tried to present the MiG as typical for the very beginning of the war, in the summer of 1941

I think you are right, the photographs don't do the model justice. What I can see looks mighty fine though.

Best high altitude interceptor😈. Great aircraft !!!   On my "to do list" . How was the build? I'm pretty sure trumpeter Migs are quite old kits.  Beautiful green colour. Nice weathering. Congratulations!

MiG is a very beautiful aircraft. Not sure if he was really very good in the sky. Build went pretty smoothly. Trump alternative - old ICM, reproduces the late type, a toy for very handy guys. What to do with a trump: grind down the walls of the cabin and release the tubular structure, make the support frame of the sight, change the shape of the exhaust fairings, remove the rivets from the rudders, fill the empty wheel wells

The model looks great, as far as I can see.

You should take photos with the light on the object, not with a dark object against a bright background.
