Right are you ready for this? the instructions would have you fit the doors like this where in reality the doors when firing are like this or on the model as can be seen in the next picture there is a lot of smoke and flame during launch To keep the rear door open just use the top hinges J8 &J9 on the rear door (they do fit, looks like Hobbyboss meant to do it but forgot?) the lower hinges J12 & J19 are the wrong shape for the rear. Also this is not a firing position despite what the instructions say! any other questions just ask 4

Then i should open the rear cover too. it is sad that the radar of this kit is fixed... Edited January 11 by Yg Models
Yg Models
although not comparing the same AFV, this still some sort of apple-to-apple to see hobbyboss & zvezda. hobbyboss molds some of the parts in one-piece (much reduce the time for assemble), but zvezda still have better details, more rigid, and lower price. 7 trucks could keep in one box, much reducing my storage space, and could know the relationship in b/w their chassis, hull, etc. That why i like to cut the parts once they arrive. the next fire support truck shall be Ballistic Missile Launcher "Topol" , subject to the price of hobbyboss ver (i think it may twice higher than zvezda one). btw, another 5 nos of tank-type AFV are updated at the beginning of this thread. The Zvezda topol and the Hobbyboss release are two different versions, Zvezda has 7 road wheels per side and the Hobbyboss Topol M has 8 there are other differences as well. I hope the pricing on the Hobbyboss kit is wrong £123 saw it on eBay it’s only £168 for the 1/35 version. There is a cheaper version of the Zvezda kit made by 4D models that are usually cheap and cheerful

You could lower it by cutting the tabs off, not 100% correct but That said if you are building it in the launch position then it has to be up anyway, as far as I am aware the mechanism open both front and rear doors together so it is impossible to have only one end open.

Only in the sense that they are the same type of vehicle otherwise no relationship. Topol M Hobbyboss 28,500 yen 1/72 scale Topol M Trumpeter. 28,500 yen 1/35 scale work that one out if you can! Although I have been interested in tanks etc from an early age, since taking up the hobby again I tend to stick to what I know well, mainly Modern British and Russian vehicles. Although I do have a few others mainly Israeli and Japanese (which I will get rid of if I every finish them 100% as I am running out of space in the display cabinets) and a few other oddities.

Yg Models
thx Milan Mynar i not a fan of piece-by-piece track, really waste time to assembly and poor result if not come with movable chassis. like this one, gap on every piece, so many mold lines need to treat/sand... Yg Models
updated wiesel vs WIESEL, same as Tankette, no schedule to paint it before 2024 compare with type 94, still bigger than i assumed. plan to buy FT-17 next, but seems 1/16 not suitable (too big) for me... then, i will return to paint japanese sci-fi kits in spring. Yg Models
QC of modelcollect is similar to Red dragon, i.e. just so so. give me a deformed rubber track another missile in WWII? big AA btw, what are those E-50,E-75, E-100 chassis by modelcollect? some sort of modified germany hull in real or modelcollect's what-if? So they are what-if paper panzers but based off real plans apparently, trumpeter do some as well as modelcollect, although the modelcollect ones get into crazy what-ifs with legs and stuff don't know about some of the misses and huge gun stuff.
