daront
Afternoon all. First of all Mods if this is in the wrong thread please move. So i work in the RAF (Typhoon Armourer) and was asked to create a leaving "gizzit" for a couple of people. I used a number of real Typhoon spares, nuts and bolts and some metal work. Not to any scale and just a bit of fun. I wont mention the Aircraft i was trying to replicate so have a guess. As always comments are welcome. Regards daron.

noelh
Very good, reminds me of the time in my former life when a retiring aircraft engineer was given a present of a rocking chair made from with jet engine parts complete with a compressor disc as a back rest. Excellent.

Bertie McBoatface
Well done, they are all clearly recognisable. Given what the MoD pays for C stores they are probably the most expensive models ever to be displayed here.🤣

Pete in Lincs
The stuff we had to throw away or hide for the AOC's annual inspection back when I was in the mob, makes this very small beer. Back then I modified a resin Tucano into a canard for the JENGO to present in the Officers mess. Somehow I ended up with it afterwards though! All good fun, and shows that workmates appreciate those who are leaving.
