InFlames
Today marks 40th anniversary since the Exocet hit HMS Sheffield at Falklands, with damage severe enough that lead to eventual sinking of the ship. This is my little tribute to those tragic events and the lost sailors, drama I was following as kid on evening TV news. MR2Don
Very good. Anybody caught the Telegraph article this morning, saying the French would not give us access to the "Kill Code" on Exocet, even though we were pretty sure there was one and asked them. Might have saved a nasty accident, but, then again, the surveillance radar was switched off so somebody could phone home!! 1
Bertie McBoatface
That's a smart build. The see turned out well with that translucent effect.
Courageous
A very nice looking '42'. I have the same kit, I hope I can do as good a job as yourself. Well done. Stuart

Micha_Pol
Modern (post-WW I) ships do not fit my taste at all; however, this is such a clean and beautiful piece of work in such a small scale I can not help but love it. The sea also looks great!
45DegreesModelling
I particularly like the gradient on the side of the base. Really gives it depth! Great work.

mekon
Really nice build. Watched the real one being built long it's Argentinian sister ships. Of interest a section of Sheffield's hull was replaced with one from the ARA Hercules during construction whilst she was still on the stocks.
Alpha Juliet
Always good to remember that, since when we are building military models there is a real-life back story that needs to be remembered. Lest we forget and thank you!
