ErikT
I like to think that the world can be divided between those that think the A-10 is awesome and those who haven't seen one yet. Your mileage may vary. Anyways, here is another project I have finished for your amusement. I have a couple of other A-10 models; one in 1/144 and another in 1/48, both of which are in the original green camouflage pattern, so I decided to change things up a little and paint this one with the so-called "peanut scheme." I think it turned out pretty nicely, even if it was never used operationally (to my knowledge). I added a little forced-perspective base with some burned-out 1/285-scale T-72s and a Shilka SPAAG from GHQ. Enjoy! 35

Darth Vader
Love the burnt out tanks and the scheme really suits the A10 . Great job

Mark4700
Love it. Well displayed on the base too. For me what makes this really good is the weathering, just enough to make it look like a well used operational aircraft without it being overdone. Vultures1
That looks great! The scheme is beautifully done and the display is really effective. Punchy weapon load too!
