Vesa Jussila
Hi fellow modelers, There have been Jungmeister in Finland and it was registered as OH-SEA and I got idea building model of this. As topic says what is consensus related to kit quality? I am aware of that there is old Heller kit in 1/72 scale and of course this is really small when completed. Also I have seen that there is RS models kit in same scale and there is even decals of OH-SEA. I might prefer in this case 1/48 scale. I have seen photos of Aeropoxy resin kit, but no idea of quality of this. Also I have seen that CMK made resin kit in 1/32 scale, but no idea how good it is. So any recommendations or advice? Sabrejet
I built the Planet 1/32 kit a while back, and aside from the exhaust collector ring not being asymmetrical, it was a nice kit!
Antti_K
Terve Vesa, I'm planning a conversion using ICM 1/32 scale Jungmann as a base. It won't be easy, but I think it is doable. There are areas where one have to accept inaccuracies but I'm measuring the kit parts and comparing them against the Jungmeister drawings. I'm not fond of resin kits. Do you know about the delivery scheme? Was the fuselage trim green in colour? Cheers, Antti
Vesa Jussila
Moi Antti, I am just starting this project so I don't have that much information available. When I find something I will share it in this thread. My plan is build plane in 50's red scheme. BR. Vesa
Mattlow
The Aeropoxy model sounds .... challenging.. https://www.modellversium.de/kit/artikel.php?id=11827 I recall the Heller kit as very small but quite nice... Matt
