Добрий день. Слава Україні! Kon’nichiwa from Baku!

Hi trickyrich, hello mates! Support the competition with Fujimi Type 99 SPG in 1/72.

At first sight the model's quality is very good. Have etched brass addition.

Best regards, Willy

Hi Willy,

Nice looking kit. Over the years I have built quite a few Fujimi kits - in the 1970's and 1980's it was their 1/76 scale tanks and 1/700 scale waterline ships. Later it was their 1/72 Phantoms and their 1/72 JNAF aircraft as in the Judy I built in this GB. They were one of the big 4 Japanese manufacturers it seemed, along with Tamiya, Hasegawa and Aoshima and were pretty good. However of late they seem to have vanished from stores over here in the UK - not sure why - is this a fairly recent release?

Good luck with the build.

Hello Pete.

Regarding to Scalemates the kit was released in 2019 year. I started to build it and can say quality is really very good, they even made weld beads.

A lot of slide molded pieses, for example the barrel. Just added some holes to make it better,

Thanks and Best regards!

welcome along Willy, and what a great and interesting choice you've bought along.

Not a build I would have expected to see, which is great.

The moulding work on the model looks really nice and not too heavy. Plus you even have PE to go with it, very nice!

Well good luck with the build, it's great to have you along and I hope you have fun.

Thank you!

Slowly continue. Most work now is fittings. Allmost finished work with tracks, fitting is very good.

Decorated the tracks a little. Track connection holes. Drill bit 0,2mm used. Removed handles from upper arm.plate, will make new ones.

Good morning. Not so much progress, new handles on upper arm.plate and some etch.brass on rear turret wall.

Yes this "Blind" scale makes me blind. But I think it worth it. After all, the best praise for a modeler is when his model is confused with a larger scale. The smaller the miniature, the more valuable it is, at least for me.

Best regards!

Oh my I just re-read the initial post ! I thought this build was in 1/35th … How are you able to see anything without using an electron microscope to do the work ?

Work with front lower armoured plate. Unusable holes were closed, new towing cable attachments, fastening eyes and mud guard mounts.
