Focke Wulf FW-190A7 - Revell 1/72

Recommended Posts

This is Revell's FW-190A8 kit with some modifications to represent the FW-190A7 flown by Wilhelm Krebs of Stab I/JG1 in January 1944. The canopy from Academy's FW-190D9 kit was used instead of the Revell original.

Really nice work, I'm amazed you can get the Revell 190 to look that clean and sharp, A+ job!

Super job! Just goes to show that, with  patience and skill, you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!

Great looking 190.  Just a fantastic job on the difficult paint job as the cowling stripes looked painted on and not decals.  Always fun to paint straight lines on a circular surface isn't it.  Thanks for sharing.  Now about to take a look at your Thunderbolt.

Hi,

Congratulations on your 190. An excellent build all around.

I am busy with the same kit in the FW 190 GB, and I have mixed feelings about this kit. Did you have to clean a lot of flash on your kit, or is it just me?

Great show!

No flash at all on my copy. My main complaints were the fit in the nose area and the canopy.
