IvoC
Have a nice day. The basis for the model is a plastic kit TAKOM 1/35. Sincerely, Ivo from the Czech Republic. Edited April 25, 2022 by IvoC

Kingsman
That's very well done indeed. I like. Very much. The 2 tanks kept by Freikorps and not handed back to the UK as required ended up in a Berlin museum after the Freikorps were finally disbanded. They both ended their days deployed against Allied forces in 1945 and destroyed in a Berlin city square.
IvoC
Good day everyone. Thank you for the response to my model. Mark IV. since the Freikorps were used against the Red Army in 1945? This is completely new information for me. I only know about Mark V.'s dances in Berlin. These were imported from the Soviet Union as spoils of war. Kingsman
Then I may be mistaken, and if so I apologise. My understanding of the "Berlin 2" is that they were the confiscated ex-Freikorps tanks. When would Germany have imported them as war spoils? Their involvement with Russia in WW1 ended well before tanks were supplied to White Russian forces. Were they memorial or museum tanks found in Russia after the Barbarossa invasion and looted back to Germany? There are still 5 surviving WW1 rhomboid tanks in Russia (2) and Ukraine (3). I thought I'd seen pictures of them in Berlin pre-WW2 but I don't have time to look again now as I'm off to work. Those may have been mis-captioned, of course. ColonelKrypton
Mark, Very nicely done. Your presentation using a simple picture frame and a period photograph adds a very nice touch to your model. cheers, Graham

IvoC
Good day. More on the topic of the Mark tank in Berlin. I think - tanks photographed in Berlin in 1945 - Mark V. They came to Germany as a war trophy from Russia at the time of Operation Barbarossa. The photos show the Wehrmacht trophy - Smolensk region and Tallinn 1941, one photo is Berlin May 1945.
